Halloween Decorations

Myself and Miss D both had our annual flu immunisations yesterday, so we had a day at home.  After getting caught up on work while she played, we both settled down to a painting session.

 

We decided to make some Halloween Pumpkin decorations to put up in the windows – any yes, of course the idea came from Pinterest!  You can find the Pin at the bottom of this page.

 

To start with we took an apple and cut it in half, and some orange paint. Using the apple as a stamp, we made our basic pumpkin shapes.

 

Once the paint dried, we cut out the best ones, then drew on a green stalk (Miss D) and pumpkin faces (Me).


Quick, easy, and pretty effective!

 

Miss D then moved on to making some monster finger puppets to follow the Halloween theme!
